Jeff Bennion

Jeff Bennion is of counsel to Spreter & Petiprin, where he works with the firm on complex legal matters involving consumer fraud and unfair business practices. Mr. Bennion brings a wealth of trial experience and insight into cutting edge legal technology to the firm.

Mr. Bennion is a San Diego native. He attended the University of California, San Diego where he earned dual Bachelors of Arts degrees in Political Science and International Relations and Russian and Soviet Studies. After graduation, he began pursuing a career as a paralegal while taking night school course in paralegal studies. Mr. Bennion entered the University of San Diego School of Law while continuing to work full time as a paralegal the civil litigation department of one of San Diego’s largest law firms. He received his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2009

Mr. Bennion has extensive experience in trial management and preparation for large and complex legal matters. Mr. Bennion worked on the 2007 San Diego Wildfire Litigation with Mr. Spreter. Mr. Bennion was assigned by the lead trial team the task of overseeing the electronic document production, storage, and coding of several hundred thousand documents produced by the defendant in the litigation. For this work, as well as his extensive trial work, he was named as one of the as one of the “Top Young Attorneys” in San Diego by the San Diego Daily Transcript, for 2012.

Mr. Bennion owns a trial technology consulting business that is routinely employed by some of the top trial attorneys in San Diego. His skills have been instrumental in helping his clients obtain seven and eight-figure settlements for their clients. Mr. Bennion is also a professor at Cuyamaca College and the University of San Diego, California where he teaches courses in, among other subjects, legal technology and business law.
